PLANTATION DRIVE BY DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL,SRESHTHA VIHAR
A Tree Plantation drive was organized by D.A.V Public School,Sreshtha Vihar ,along with Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha and Horticulture department of Delhi in memory of the departed soul Sh. T. R. Guptaji (Vice President DAVCMC and Chairman of our School).
Students of class 9th to 12th along with Teachers, Deputy Director of Horticulture Department Mr. Bijender Kumar and SO Mr. Pradeep Kumar enthusiastically planted around 200 saplings at the District Park at Dilshad Garden(Seed Bed).
Students also got first hand experience of many types of trees and their uses through nature walk arranged by the authorities in the park.
The students prayed for the departed soul and wished that the trees grow up to match the towering personality of Shri. T. R. Gupta ji.
