The 56th edition of the Youth Parliament Competition unfolded successfully at DAV Public School, Sreshtha Vihar, adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, on November 30, 2023. Principal Ma’am ceremonially inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Students from classes X to XII actively participated, replicating various Lok Sabha procedures, including question hour and the introduction of new bills etc. Students dynamically presented opposition party views, sparking engaging debates that enriched the event with spirited discussions and diverse perspectives.

The competition was a platform for vibrant parliamentary simulations and a display of remarkable talent. Eight outstanding students, namely Ananya Jha, Tanvi Suri, Amreen Kaur, Amritesh Singh, Dimple Raghav, Aayush Bhardwaj, Mahak Anand, and Vanshika Garg, were selected to receive prestigious certificates and mementoes from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.

Distinguished guests, Bratin Sen Gupta (Ex-MP Rajya Sabha) and Md Asadullah (Section Officer, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs), offered valuable insights as judges. The event concluded with a gracious vote of thanks by the Vice Principal, expressing gratitude to participants and acknowledging the esteemed guests for their invaluable presence.
