15 outstanding educators have been recognised as Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Experts for 2025–2026, honoured globally for thoughtfully integrating technology to create inclusive, engaging, and student-centred classrooms.

 Ms. Ranjana Varma has earned the prestigious Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow title for the fifth consecutive year—a rare distinction for global leaders who mentor and transform education worldwide.

Ms.Ranjana Varma (Supervisor Nursery)won the ‘Challenge of the Month-August’ contest organized by the AI Facilitator community [ AIFC ]. The AI Facilitator community is a collaborative initiative by the CBSE,the apex body under the Ministry of Education and intel@India

• Mr. Ashok Kumar Goel, Supervisor (Secondary), HOD-Computer Science proudly received the CBSE TEACHERS AWARD 2018 from Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ in a glittering award ceremony.
• Shri Ashok Kumar Goel, Supervisor (Secondary), PGT Computer Science received the prestigious Delhi State Teachers Award, 2018, from Hon’ble Chief Minister Sh. Arvind Kejriwal and Dy. Chief Minister Sh. Manish Sisodia in a glittering ceremony organized at Thyagraj Stadium.He was awarded with a shawl, a memento, a citation and a cheque worth Rs. 25000/-.

• In a Glittering Award Ceremony, held at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre-DAIC, Janpath, New Delhi, Dr. Arvind Kumar Jha, PGT-Hindi of our school was awarded the coveted “CBSE Honour of Excellence in Teaching and School Leadership 2021-22”. Smt. Annpurna Devi, Minister of State for Education, Government of India presented Dr. Jha with a Certificate of Commendation and monetary award of Rs. 50,000/- for his valuable contribution in the field of Education.

• She Participated in the Summer Workshop on 21st Century Learning Tools and Technology and was the winner of Cyber Security & Wellness Campaign.

• Ms. Ranjana Varma, and her team members comprising of 2 MIEEs from India and 1 from Brunei along with their students were declared 2nd RUNNERS UP in Category: Digital Citizenship under Tech for Good Global Challenge organized by Microsoft.

• Mr Ashok Kumar Goel and Dr Arvind Kumar Jha were selected to attend ‘Independence Day Program at Red Fort, Delhi on 15^th August 2023 as CBSE special invitee.
• Ms. Deepti Chawla PGT Mathematics and Secondary Supervisor and Ms. Simmi Khurana TGT Mathematics were nominated for the State Teacher's Award (2023-2024). They were recognized for their outstanding efforts and innovative techniques in the field of education as Mathematics teachers, leadership and mentoring skills by the Directorate of Education.

• Sh. S.K. Sharma (PGT-Sports) has been conferred with the Excellence Award 2021-22 by Directorate of Education, Govt of Delhi, Zone 1,Distt.East.

Commemorating the occasion of Teacher’s Day, the award ceremony was organised by ‘Dainik Jagran’, world’s largest read and India’s highly circulated newspaper in association with ‘New Delhi YMCA’.

• Mrs. Rekha Pundir (TGT-S.St.) received Teaching Excellence Award 2017 in the category of Innovative Teaching Strategies in Social Studies (Secondary), from Progressive Teachers and S. Chand Group .
• ​Mrs. Geeta Rao (TGT-Sanskrit), Mr. Diwakar Sharma (TGT-Moral Edu.), Mr.Rajnish Kumar (TGT-Music) and Mrs.Deepa Bhargava (PRT-Music) have been awarded ‘Sanskrit Samaradhak Samman’ in appreciation of their valuable contribution in Sanskrit and Music by the Delhi- Sanskrit Academy, Delhi Government.​
• 5 teachers namely Ms. Preeti Bhatnagar, Ms. S. Akilandeswari, Ms. Shweta Handa, Ms. Nupur Gupta and Ms. Ranjana Varma successfully participated in Aptis Action Research Mentorship Programme- the Pilot Project of British Council. The Action Research enabled them to conduct exploratory research and find innovative solutions to the question chosen, they explored it in their own environment and enhanced their teaching –learning experience. This twelve-month Programme from April 2017 to March 2018 culminated in British Council CLASSROOM-BASED RESEARCH MELA on 11th March 2018 at Ambedkar University, New Delhi. DAV Public School, Sreshtha Vihar is proud to have been one of the two Schools from Delhi to have participated in this path breaking and one of its kind research. There were 80 mentees from all over the country, 8 from Delhi out of which 5 represented DAV Public School, Sreshtha Vihar.

• DAV Public School believes in holistic development of its students, where the knowledge gained is class is put into application. Taking this spirit forward the school participated in the School Enterprise Challenge, Teach a Man to Fish, a UK based charity where the students learn to earn by running an enterprise. The students launched the enterprise with the name Neo Creo –intelligently designed where they recycle waste, discarded crayons into fresh non conventional shaped crayons and candles. The venture is run with the moto of sustainable development under the guidance of Mrs. Prem Lata Garg (Principal) and Lead teacher Ms.Simi Rajesh and co-teacher Ms. Poonam Gupta. The initiative that these students undertook fetched them accolades like India Country Prize Winners- Stage 3 award and Archit Malhotra of class XII was awarded the enterprising student’s Runner up award in the 2016 and in 2017 respectively.

• Ms. Simi Raghuvaran (PGT Entrepreneurship) co-authored a research-based article with Mr. Prabhat Mittal on ‘Entrepreneurship education and employability skills: the mediating role of e-learning courses’ was published in the Springer Link Journal.

• The DAV Center for Academic Excellence (DAV CAE) organises Capacity Building Programmes and Performance Enhancement Programme for teachers across all levels in all subjects. The school has Master Trainers in every subject who share their expertise with colleagues from other DAV schools.
