Promotion Policy of the School
The academic year is divided into TWO TERMS –Term I and Term II (Annual) . The assessment will be done in scholastic and co-scholastic aspects.
Class VIII

Directorate of Education (DoE) has removed the ‘No-detention policy for class VIII.

Promotion policy of the school is according to the guidelines of the Directorate of Education (DoE)
Classes IX & XI
-
Students of Classes IX and XI will be promoted to the next class on the basis of their scores in the First Term examination, Annual examination and internal assessment.

The annual result will be calculated according to the weightage & criteria mentioned below:

Classes X& XII
Promotion for students of Classes X and XII will be subject to the rules laid down by the CBSE.
Please Note

Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory to be eligible to appear in the final examination.

No Student will be given a chance to repeat a class in case he/she has already repeated any of the earlier classes.

Students found using any unfair means during any of the examinations, will be awarded zero in that subject and strict disciplinary action will be taken.

In case of any violation of the ‘code of conduct’, strict action like suspension/ rustication shall be taken and the student will not be given a chance to repeat the class.
