The highlight of the assembly was a skit titled 'The Tree’s Kindness' where students showcased how a small act of kindness can inspire others, creating a positive chain reaction.
Following the skit, the students presented a lively dance performance on the song “Ao Hum Sab Haath Milayein," celebrating the joy of thankfulness through coordinated and energetic moves.
The enthusiastic performance delivered a clear and impactful message encouraging everyone to practice kindness and gratitude. The event was a great success, leaving a lasting impression on all.
A thoughtful and thought provoking assembly on Inclusive Education was presented by the students of Class V B and their class teacher, Ms. Gauri Khanna. The assembly that was held on Saturday 31st August 2024, was meant to encourage students to understand, empathize, and accept each other, emphasizing the significance of creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for everyone.
Students of Class 4-B presented a street play 'Jal Hai to Kal Hai' during their class assembly on 24th August2024. The skit, prepared by Ms. Aruna Sharma, focused on the small, everyday actions that lead to water wastage and its remedy.
The students highlighted how the seemingly minor negligence can add up to significant water loss.They also demonstrated practical solutions that can make a big difference. The students emphasized the importance of using water wisely and making sure that it is not polluted, as clean water is essential for everyone’s health.
By showcasing these everyday actions and solutions in their performance, they conveyed an important message that everyone has a role to play in conserving water.
Their presentation was not only educational but also inspiring, encouraging everyone to be more responsible with their water usage and to take action in their own lives to ensure that we have enough clean water for generations to come.
Students of Class I under the guidance of their Class Teacher Ms. Shahina presented a delightful skit and dance performance during the school assembly on 22nd August 2024. This was to celebrate Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna.
The skit depicted the scenes from Lord Krishna's childhood. The students dressed in colourful traditional attire, presented a lively show. The performance was enjoyed by the audience and it helped to spread the joy and significance of the festival.
On the occasion of Janmashtami, the school Principal Ms. Suhasini K. Nath, extended her festival greetings with a hope for everyone to follow the path of selfless love and compassion.
National Sports Day was celebrated by Primary Wing on 29th August 2024.
On 23rd August 2024, the students of class 3C presented a remarkable assembly on the theme "Save Earth, Save Future. " The assembly aimed to raise awareness among students about environmental conservation and the importance of protecting our mother Earth for future generations.
The students performed a short skit and poster exhibition with action song that highlighted different aspects of environmental conservation, which included recycling, reducing plastic usage, conserving water and planting trees.
On 16th August 2024, post Independence Day, the students of class 5 A presented a thought-provoking Nukkad Natak titled "Freedom from Cyber Crimes." The play was centered around the modern-day issues of cyber crimes and online frauds. It brought everyone's attention to identity theft, cyber bullying etc. which are the new threats to our society. The students effectively conveyed the impact of these crimes on individuals and the role of education and awareness in combating these modern challenges.
MIDDLE
On 21st August 2024, students of Class 7-B presented a skit during the morning assembly on Sustainable Development Goal-8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. The skit depicted a village where residents initially faced hardships due to a lack of education and job opportunities. Through education and decent work, the villagers overcame poverty, becoming successful professionals like doctors and entrepreneurs. Their contributions revitalized the village’s economy, generating exports and foreign exchange. Youth parliament is an annual competition organised by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs & Directorate of Education. The aim is to train & spread awareness about the working of the Indian Parliament. Our school participated in the 56th edition,2024 with full enthusiasm. 8 students were awarded merit certificates & trophies at the glittering function on September 6,2024 by the honourable Minister for Parliamentary Affairs,Sh. Meghwal ji, in the new Parliament Building.
EMPATHS – THE INCLUSIVE MENTAL HEALTH CLUB conducted an awareness drive for students (9th to 12th) On 22 August, 2024 and promoted Mental Health Awareness under the guidance of our School Counsellor and Special Educators. Students spread the message by tying a wrist band on teachers and other school staff’s wrist, which said ‘Mental Health Matters’, emphasizing the need of good mental health. Awareness drive focused on psycho-educating students and teachers about importance of mental health and resources available in school and outside to seek help, aiming to build a community where everyone feels safe and heard. This initiative underscores our commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive school atmosphere. Students were appreciated for their idea and efforts by Madam Principal. She also guided our senior students with importance of good mental well-being and gave them several tips.
